Starter motor.
Electric window is sluggish.
Heater switch failed.
Awful engine, slow, noisy and rough.
No anti-lock brakes - a terrible omission on a car this new.
Small seats.
Feels like a cheap Korean car.
Zero driving pleasure.
Will never buy a 1.8 again.
I own a ford mondio 1.8lx 1998 since I have had this car I have had no problems with it, I service it every 10000 miles and have just had a cam belt kit fitted in june 2005. I also tow a 22ft caravan with it, I towed the caravan to spain no problem and it would do it again, i think the mondeo 1.8lx is a very good car, you just need to look after it.
