The main problem I have had is that the power steering leaks a little. But I have only lost 8 ounces of fluid in 8 months. I may replace the right power assist seal in the future.
I have had to replace the headlight lens module pods because the old ones were yellowed due to aging. This improved headlights ability to work better.
Last but not least, a little dab of silicone rubber sealant on the power window clips (the 2 white clips that attaches the bottom of the window to the power window arm) has kept my windows from slipped out of their tracks.
Handling is great, the car sits low and hugs the road. The ride is comfortable but sometimes a little rough over bumps in the road. With some tuning up and care, it is very smooth, quiet and powerful. The car is quick around town, but lacks the fast acceleration that I have enjoyed in my General Motor V-6s.
I also have an 87 thunderbird. When I recieved it it only had 60000 miles on it. But now it has 80000 miles and every thing on it is starting to go bad. But other than that I am pretty satisfied with the way it is running. I just wish that it had more power.
