"The best sports car ever produced"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Absolutely nothing where regular maintenance is followed.

Timing belt went at 35000.

Valve cover gaskets leaked at 55000.

Seat adjustments went at 65000.

General comments?

Car is an absolutly great handler.

Good on gas for what it is.

Replacement parts are absolutly absurdly priced.

Synthetic oil is best for this car.

Seats are great for long distances.

Tires for this car are costly as you will only get 35000 out of them period.

Timing belt went at 35000 miles! I drove 100,000 miles on my car and then replaced it without any problem. Porsche recommended 45000-60000 miles interval in the old days, but with new belt technology they new interval is 100,000 miles if you your water-pump, tensioner and rollers are in good working condition. You better not be in the Porsche part business making 928 owners paranoid.
