1995 Chevrolet Blazer LT from North America - Comments

What things have gone wrong with the car?

EVERYTHING!! brakes, brakes, brakes. This truck doesn't brake and have to be replaced every 24000kms. Engine opened twice, alternator, gauge cluster, leather seats rip, heater motor stops working when temp. is below 0. Simply put, there is always something wrong with it. My repair file is terribly thick.

General comments?

ABS brakes are sluggish. Auto transmission shifter is in front of radio, you have to be a contortionist to adjust the radio. The suspension is very soft and rolls in curves.

I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE GMC/CHEVROLET AWD. I just ordered myself an ML320 MB.

That's all wrong! First of all, Blazers run on a 4.3L V6 and the 4 Wheel Drive is the best thing about those. As for the future, SUV'S will basically suck. They are becoming more and more styled like cars, rather than a truck. The best Blazer I have to say ever made was the 1988 S10 Blazer, which was 2 door.

I agree with the first guy, I own a 1989 S-10 2 door 4 wheel drive Blazer. The thing is indestructible, if you want something with a smooth ride that's easy to drive and has a lot of storage space then buy an import. If you want a solid piece of American metal, then you want a s-10 Blazer. Never have I seen another car work as hard or take as much punishment. Its a tough car through and through.
