"Good multi-role vehicle; no regrets"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Power locks jammed twice.

Wiring problem melted fuse panel (recall item). This happened twice.

Fuel pump would sometimes starve the engine (power loss).

General comments?

Handles well for its size, acceleration & braking are OK.

Visibility is great; side mirrors cover blind spots nicely.

Driver seating is a bit cramped because of the wheel-well, but controls are all in reach and functionally placed.

Don't know if it's my driving or what, but I get 80-100 thousand K on a set of tire, and am still on the original clutch. Timing belt has only been changed once.

Huge interior - I routinely carry 4x8' sheet material laying flat. Can seat 7 and still have luggage room in back.

Center and rear seating not very flexible, although this has been fixed on newer models.

Original parts can be expensive.

If you have more than 200,000 miles, you better change your timing belt, now!! If it breaks when the engine is running, you will need to do a valve replacement.
