"Great first car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Air conditioning won't work.

Water pump replaced.

Odometer doesn't always work properly, think the previous owner has messed around with it.

General comments?

The car is great and reliable always kicks over first go in the morning. Also will go hard when I'm out cruising.

However I want to gain some more performance but not sure how yet. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

Email me at Nathan_10@hotmail.com for suggestions.

Thanks

Easy way to gain a few Kw is by putting a hole in the bottom of your air filter box. Underneath will be some metal which you will have to cut a hole into. Don't worry, the car is still structurally sound. Run a 4 inch bendable pipe through to behind the front grille. Patch up the hole in the front of the air box and there you have it... COLD AIR INDUCTION.

Make sure you have small holes in the bottom of the pipe, cause if water gets in there it needs to be able to flow out. A K&N filter never goes astray. I've had mine for a year now and I'm still happy with the performance increase. Mine is the fastest natually aspirated VL in Brisbane.

Hey, thanks for the comment, and I shall use cold air induction. You say you're from Brisbane, well I'm from the sunshine coast, do you cruise up here because there are some extremely nice VL's around up here?
