"A luxury liner"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

My window makes a sound when it is going up or down.

General comments?

OK, I have just bought my dream car. Yes, some may say my dreams are small, but I can tell you I love this car more than my girlfriend.

This vehicle is so well built, the way it works, the interior design, the engine. I could not find a better car with so many options for the price that I liked.

The vehicle looks as if it was just made today. Any one who abuses a Legend should be jailed or punished, this vehicle is still alive and should be treated that way. It was sure a big mistake for Acura/Honda to get rid of this line of cars. OK, I am going to kiss her good night, no not my girl, THE LEGEND.

I totally agree with you. I have a 93 Legend coupe and I absolutely love it. Even though it has 210K miles on it, it is still running strong - and looks great. The only drawback I'm having right now is that the paint on the roof is starting to fade, but I'm planning on getting it painted in the near future. I have 18" chrome Milano's on it with an awesome stereo system that will rattle your brain. My boyfriend put the Type II engine in it at around 100K miles. I still have the factory transmission and alternator (which is surprising because of all the energy being drained by my stereo system). My car has NEVER had an oil leak or any other major mechanical defects. Although I am missing a motor mount and my car shifts a little harder than it should. I would recommend this car to anyone - and I do. I am bummed that they quit making this model, but it is such a hot item with the younger crowd - I'm always turning heads. Beware if you door handle ever breaks from the inside - just the door handle itself is $200 (unbelievable!). I have found that every part for this car is unreasonably expensive - even more expensive than a Mercedes! But that is because these are rare cars these days and most parts have to be special ordered. Not a lot of stuff breaks on these cars, but when it does, be ready to shell out some $$$. But believe me, it is well worth it to take care of these cars. They will last you a lifetime. To make a long story short, if you run across one of these cars, buy it! You will not regret it - I guarantee it!

I agree! My '93LL with 191,000 miles has been reliable from the start. My seats are showing wear and something is wrong with my strut bearings. Besides this, it runs great. If anyone is familiar with the strut problem, please post.

I just bought a 94 Legend Ls 2 door with 6 speed trans, and the type 2 engine. This car is a rocket, but is is reliable. It only has 115xxx miles on it and seems to run perfect. The interior is a little worn, but can be easily fixed.
