Nothing has gone wrong with the car so far, thankfully.
Extremely quick hot hatch.
Handling is very impressive, voted one of the best drivers cars ever made.
The look of the car sets it aside from all other Clio's. Its much meaner and meatier looking and the flared arches allow 18" alloys without problems.
Recently replaced the standard exhaust system from the cat back, with a Powerflow custom built stainless steel exhaust. The car now looks much more aggresive and powerful, and the sound is incredible, more like a GTi-R or a Cosworth.
The interior is superb. Blue carpets fully line the floor and the Williams embroidered seats are incredibly comfortable and wrap you in tightly. Even the blue seat-belts follow the colour code of the car.
I would say the only problem I've encountered so far is the fact that the car red-lines so quickly! While overtaking, the rev limiter can kick in and it should have been time to change gear! The car is really quick in the first few gears due to the ratio's, but opens up in 4th and 5th so the car could be pushed to the limits without the rev limiter needing to be used.
The Williams 3 is also the last model of the Williams range, and comes with anti-lock brakes (ABS) as standard. Handy.
It would have been so much nicer if Dimma kits came as standard too!
I've recently cured the red-lining problem by having the Williams chip upgraded. The Superchip allows the car to rev right round to 8k and with the recently added K&N Induction kit the car sounds superb as it sucks air in, much like a turbo sound. It even has the K&N accompanied whistle note of a turbo!
Amazingly, the petrol consumption seems better too, maybe the original chip wasn't set up properly or something, but the car is running superbly now. Next service in 1000 miles.
Overall, the Powerflow stainless exhaust with 4" pipe, Superchip and K&N 57i Induction kit highly recommended.
The car is amazing! I also have a Williams 3 and it is definitely the quickest pocket rocket around, not just speed, but handling is second to none. I do all the work myself, so running costs are not too high at all! in-fact, you can compare expenses with a small car like a saxo or polo, and then compare it with the drive to dropping from 3rd at 70mph into 2nd at 50mph and having it out with an Impreza and a Golf VR6.
Pro's are:
The engine is very Aggressive
The handling is brave
looks are slick, small and angry
steering is superb. people miss this point, but it plays a huge part.
Cons.
Too much for the average human
noise, small rattles (can be dealt with)
everything is too close together in the engine bay.
Any thoughts or mad ideas.

The little monsters are 150bhp and 0-60 is 7.7 seconds. I've raced my fiend in a 2005 clio sport182 cup and there wernt a lot in it. upto 80 he'd gained about 2 car lengths. not bad I think. he actually admitted to me he prefered my williams. I like to think cuz she's got more character.
I'm thinking of buying a williams 3, the one that I have my eye on has done aronud 85 thousand miles. Is it worth looking into?
