"Expensive to fix"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Engine rebuilt at 152000 km's.

Transmission rebuilt at 180000 km's.

Water pump failed twice so far.

Alternator failed once.

T-tops leak in the rain.

Power steering rack replaced at 211000 km's.

For some reason, my car doesn't run well in warm weather.

General comments?

When running properly, this car is great.

I had an '88 from 1990-1996. It was without a doubt the worst car I have ever owned. I had all the problems you mentioned and then some. I was a young married father at the time and the Daytona was my first "real" car. Too bad it was such a lemon because visually she was stunning. When it ran right it was a fun car to drive though.
