"A great vehicle for the price paid"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

My clutch went out at 107,000 miles.

My timing belt went out at 112,000 miles.

Air conditioning compressor out at 200,000 miles.

Rotors and drums replaced at 210,000.

General comments?

The best 10,000 dollars I have ever spent on a vehicle.

Have never had to walk due to car trouble.

I have had my Ranger for 9 months and have not had any major problems. The only things I have done is replace the battery and have some front end work done.

I've got a 1990 Ranger. No major problems. The motor expired at 286,000 miles. I consider this to be the best vehicle I've ever purchased in 37 years of buying cars. I have installed a re-manufactured motor, new clutch, pressure plate and release bearing I've also had the seats re-upholstered, new red paint job, new carpet, new chrome wheels, new rear end. I would rather drive my Ranger than my 1999 F-150 Lariat 4x4. The F-150 is a cream puff. But I love the handling and quick response of the Ranger. I have had a 1965 Ford pickup with a 429 blue printed and balanced, a 1987 Ford Custom truck and the F-150. But this 1990 Ranger is by far top of the line. Bruce Blevins Advance North Carolina.

I own a 1990 ranger xlt long bed. my father bought it new that year. he passed in 02 and I got the truck. it only has 64,000 on the thing and I'm proud to be left such a jewel. its still like it just rolled off the show room. I remember the day he brought the truck home. that was 17 years ago. I hope to hand it down to my son on day. we have always been a ford family..
