The rear "Grand Touring Suspension" has gone bad. It had to be replaced with a standard rear suspension.
The transmission was replaced about 5 years ago. This was covered by the dealership.
This 1992 Buick Skylark GS is a great car. It has the 3800 series engine that quickly pushes the car where it has to go.
The car always starts and is very dependable.
The Skylark is very good on gas mileage. It only costs about 20 dollars to fill the tank.
Your 1992 Skylark GS should have a 3300, not a 3800 as indicated. I as well have a '92 Skylark GS Coupe - going to be selling it next week, 235,000 miles on it, and the most ever done to it was a water pump (aside from normal maint.)
I am an original owner of a 92 GS Skylark. Every time it really rains here in Fla the drivers floorpan is soaked and I have yet to determine the exact area of leakage. Odometer reads 110k and only the battery and alternator have been replaced, now that's reliability.
