Transmission needed replacement at 95,000 miles.
Replaced a gasket.
A beautiful, luxury, high performance bargain.
Extremely powerful.
Can be a bit expensive to upkeep... but overall a great bargain.
I had a 1992 Seville, not quite the same mechanically, but it was expensive to upkeep, but I loved that car very much. The power, the luxury, just the look of it was awesome. Not recommended for a struggling college student though. I had to drop almost $300 into it the first week I had it. I was lucky enough to sell it and get all my money back after ten days.
I was unfortunate enough to own a diesel! Holy cow what a piece of junk... Mainly down to the previous owners lack of care.
Anyway, don't buy the diesel unless you love giving money away!
I still own a 93' seville sts, the car now has 327,678 miles on it, mechanical wise I have put 2 water pumps in it, east to do, 1 transaxel on the drivers side, and some new boots, that's it, by far the best reliable car I have ever owned, would not trade this car for anything, engine runs like new, and I bought this car new, it just won't die!!!
