What things have gone wrong with the car?

Needed new clutch.

Bought it used so it has been in two wrecks and it still runs like new after each fix - they weren't my fault.

It has 103,000 miles on it and no problems since I got it with 3,000 on it.

General comments?

I love my car, it is easy for me to work on and I have no problems in any weather.

I get more attention in it since I tinted the windows and repainted it - the original black was fading so I repainted it.

Hey, I have a 94' Eagle Talon TSI AWD and it is the best car I ever bought in my life!!! The Turbo was great on it when I beat a 97' Honda Civic V-TEC. My car was all stock running 140 horse power on that car. My girl also likes it too, she said that it is a chick magnet. So all I got to say is this is the best car made, they should restart making these cars..

Thanks,

Steven Brzuchalski.

Dude, the 97 Civic VTEC was only 125 HP. What do you expect? I admit these cars as fast as hell, but they are also high maintenance with their cheap ass diamond star motors engines. I have heard from people who own these cars, to avoid them unless I want empty pockets.

Yeh, I'm Mike, I'm an owner of a 93'Talon TSi AWD and there was 45000 k's when I bought, and there's 117/k's right now. Runs better then my girlfriend. Yes you're right, it's a chick magnet, and I'm single guy so a lot of chicks come and go! It's red and black, but needs nice rims and more speed. My sound system is unreal, you can hear me for like 6 blocks away. Nice to see your site and the interested guys in Talons.

How on earth could you fit a nice sound system in the car without removing the spare tire or the back seat?

I put two 15" MTX Thunder 8000's in the back of an Eagle Talon without removing the backseats or the spare tire... also it was a ported box and I fitted it in there with 2.75 cu ft per sub. I was running an Alpine MRV T 757 V12 at the time and hit 148.6 dbs. If you're interested in getting the dimensions of the box, drop me a line at wrathenfoof@yahoo.com, I'd be more than happy to tell you how to bump one of those out real hard... yeah... you could hear mine from about a half mile.

Umm First off last I checked the designed and manufacter of the talon engine would be Mistubishi onther then that it is the Crysler stuff. I don't know how you can say the car will cost a lot to maintain if you don't beat the living PISS out of it everyday. Its like any other sports car fun to drive yet you know if you pound it toi hard it will brake...

I have a 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD, and I recently was driving down the highway and over heated my car because it had no coolant. I was wondering if anyone else happened to do this to their talon? If so what were the things that needed fixed? Someone told me that I needed a new motor and someone else told me that I should just get a new head gasket and fix the top half of my motor.

I am looking at a 1994 eagle Talon tsi hatchback.

I was just wondering some things, what is the gas mileage on these?

I s it true what I heard that they have a tendency to have oil leaks?

Any suggestions as to enhancements other than a bleeder valve?

Any problems you can think of that are easy fixes?

Well I've bugged you long enough for today check in later on your answers or you can email me at atmaweapon4@hotmail.com.

Thanks

LoMaxx.

I was thinking about buying 95 Eagle Talon. I was wondering how reliable these cars are and what kind of gas mileage they get. Also, I was wondering how well they handle in the snow and ice. If anyone could give me any advice about this car, I'd really appreciate it. You can e-mail me at ChipperCP123@aol.com. Thanks! :)

I bought a 94 talon just yesterday, and the same day I got it the transmission went out on it. But it is a VERY fast car.
