Take advantage of extended service contracts/warranty coverage. (You'll need it!)
If the dealer would look in the can just behind the master cylinder I bet they would find your leaking fluid.
I had the same problem and when I finally found where the fluid went I pulled the vacuum hose (on the top inboard side of the can) and siphoned out almost 2 quarts of fluid using a 5' length of small clear tube like those on fish tanks.
The long term solution was to replace the master cylinder.
FYI - the four wheel drive on dodge trucks is four wheel drive, it's not all wheel drive. You're not supposed to be driving on pavement with the four wheel drive engaged. Go buy a jeep with a full-time four wheel drive transfer case if you want to drive around in four wheel drive all the time.
