I wrecked this car 7 times in one year, so these aren't typical results.
The right control arm broke at 158000 miles.
I had to buy a total of 18 tires for this car. This was due to the front end damage.
I had to replace the original factory clutch at 160000 miles. This is virtually unheard of because other cars that take hard driving like this don't last a fraction of that length.
Nothing else other than body damage from the accidents.
This car is a blast to drive. Honda knows what they are doing. This car was wrecked seven times and still runs like a champ.
With only a few performance mods, this car completely demolished most other cars in town, including: Mustang 5.0's, 4.6's, Dodge Intrepid's, all Honda's :), all, but one Neon (Nitrous Oxide), etc. This car explodes on the acceleration.
I would recommend one of these to anyone who has a few thousand bucks. I haven't seen a better deal on a car in my life.
Lets be realistic!!! I have a Mustang with a 4.6 and a 92 Integra... The Integra handles really well and accelerates briskly, but could never come close to "demolishing" a mustang. Perhaps you were the only one racing!
About the body repair stuff, I just recently crashed my integra on the freeway for it being as some say "jap crap" - lemme tell you! it took a good beating and is still drivable without any major damage and will only cost me about 2 grand AT MOST to repair, I am extremely impressed and pleased with my Acura.
Wrecked it 7 times in 1 year??? You should stay off the road!!!
Keep in mind the Acura is modified, so it will definitely destroy a Mustang 4.6. Besides, a 4.6 Mustang isn't much to brag about.
Well I have a Cobra and a Integra...
Without a doubt the Integra won't beat the Cobra, but it will run with the V6 2v Stangs... I guess you can Turbo and add NOS to the Integra... but without it's very fun to drive... very responsive and a great car... the only reason I bought my Cobra was because I could rely on the Integra that I've owned for 12 years... enough said.
Does this car exist in the real world or in Gran Turismo for PlayStation? Also, what's the definition of "few performance mods"?
