Clutch failure at 16000kms. This required flywheel machining and the car off the road for 4 days.
2 starter motor failures, 1 at 25000kms
and 1 at 55000kms.
Plug lead failure at 80000 kms.
Rust around the rear end (behind fender)
Very handy vehicle for general use. I never used it off road.
Very poor in high sidewinds, in fact dangerous.
Bouncy ride and soggy steering.
We too have this car, but don't know what oil filter is meant to be used. does anyone know?? (specifically for the 16-valve model)
