"This is the Pontiac's Caprice Classic"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Blown steering wheel pump after abuse.

Blown transmission fluid hose.

Alternator gave out.

Third brake light assembly has broke.

Reverse taillight switch is bad.

Rear switch on driver's power seat is not working.

General comments?

This car's 305 runs like a 350, and the 700R4 transmission is great for cruising.

The car's heavy duty suspension handles like it has sway bars.

This sedans plush interior is very comfortable.

I love my 1984 it has a little extra touch to it I put on dual exhaust and bigger tires in the rear and the front it has a 305 and it does a great smoke show I love it it is a brougham it has all the extras, but my electric seats went 0ut, but I have only had to put a new radiator in it and a carburetor kit since I bought it I love how it sounds its nice and loud with the duals.

I got my 86 pontiac a couple months ago. it was a gift from my father. the car looked like a grandpa car when I frist got it and the motor anf transmission where shout due to shade tree mechanics. right now I have $1800 in the motor and transmission had to have the motor rebuilt and buy a used transmission, but the car is a nice ride. I work for a chevy dealership in south carolina so I got the parts cheap. I found out that the control heads for the ac and heater go out as well as the vent doors tend to break, but now I am riding with ac. I plan to put a set of dual flow masters. a key to making to car stand out and change the looks are to find a set of old cragar rims with 215/65/15 and do away with the fender skirts and the car does a 180 degrees turn around. everyone says it makes the car look mean. well got to go.
