From the day I purchased this used vehicle, the inside dash started to buckle.
The glove compartment has been broken since I first bought the car.
All of the inside material lost its glue and started coming apart years ago.
The motor on this car still works like a jewel. It is one of the most mechanically sound cars I have driven. I think the day the insides of the car was put together was a bad day for the workers. Very shoddy workmanship on the inside.
I agree, my interior is coming apart also, the carpet on the sides of the center console and dash face.
The glove box door on the top side of the dish had to be fixed with new screws, and the dish pad is popping up on the drivers side dash panel, also you might have noticed that there are no cup holders in the front area of the car, just two cup holders in the back when you flip the lid of the rear console forward, Oldsmobile was not thinking about the driver in this aspect, and there is no where to put cup holders in the front either.
