Nothing has gone wrong except for the instrument cluster going off and on it's the ground, not quite making it.
I like Jeeps, this is my fourth TJ Wrangler. These are much nicer than the old YJ Wranglers, better offroad and trust me, I have owned 9 Jeeps, I have the answers. Run a Teraflex lift and you will put to shame the D90 Defender LandRovers. For the money these cannot be beat, just go get one.
I never even thought I needed 4x4 until my first Jeep purchase in 1990, brand spanking new off the big rig trailer. Loved my first Jeep and still love my last, however I have been driving my BMW ultimate driving machine. BMWs are the ultimate cars and the ultimate 4x4s are the 97-2003 Wranglers.
I have a 98 Jeep Wrangler Sport, and I have to disagree with your logic. ONLY use the teraflex lift if it is a complete lift (i.e. springs, shocks, everything) if you go the cheap way with the rubber blocks that you put on top of the springs you will have a very very hard riding launch shuddering low caster truck that is scary to take down the road let alone a trail. I bought mine with the 2" tyeraflex block kit in it and it had low caster about 3 degrees too low. and it rode very very badly. so be warned block kits are JUNK!!!
