Just tonight the power windows went out on the passenger side.
I love my car. It has been one of the most reliable cars that I have ever owned or heard of.
I would reccomend this car to anyone. This car has become a barn car, all terrain vehicle and my ghetto fabulous car... There are parts of my car that are held together by zip-ties and duck tape. But I love my car to death.
I recently put an Eclipse system in it with subs, and my car bumps really hard now.
I rarely go anywhere without being looked at it my car... This is why she got a sexy and exhillerating name...Roxane. She is known everywhere. I love that car. Please if you have one baby it like it was your own child or one of your appendages... I love my car. And forever will live Roxane.
OK I am from PUERTO RICO. I don't have any problem with my Hyundai Scoupe. It gave me excellent service; I used to travel every day to sanjuan (1 hr trip). You know with the highways here they have HIGHWAYS in big mountains.
I bought it for $1,100.00, only had to replace when bought the windows regulator driver side, two window controls.
It was an automatic transmission, an I bought a manual transmission and I replaced it.
There is non turbo model, but I buy the turbo manifold to add the turbo system; it's my fascination!
The power window failure is due to the power window switch on the drivers or passengers side. This problem is common on all scoupes. You can fix the problem by finding out which power window switch is faulty and then removing the switch. These switches can be taken apart, and the contacts cleaned, at which point the switch will function well for 1000's of K's.
