1990 Chrysler Imperial from North America - Comments

"A long lasting beautiful car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The rear air suspension pump blew out at about 55,000 miles.

General comments?

Aside from it's wide turning radius, this full size car handles wonderfully.

I own a very fine 1990 Imperial and must agree that if you indeed get a good one you will be one of the best looking

on the road. Aside from its design an altered version of the Chrysler K car series, I believe this car used the design much better and made for quite a handsome car. The ugly (potato) design of the Chrysler design now makes me

consider holding on to my Imperial forever or until they design something with some flair. Always remember to read the owners manual to find out what type of transmission fluid to use as these transmissions are ruined with the use of cheap or non Chrysler approved types of fluid.

Well, although I really love the 84-85 eldorado biarritz,

i must say, the imperial is a grand looking car, it in no way surpasses the 84-85 eldorado biarritz, but, when thinking of the engine that cadillac put in this fabulous

car, I would choose an imperial with mark cross leather of course, gm luxo cars need a lot of repairs, I know this because I owned a buick riviera, does the imperial need

a lot of attention with repairs?

I am so feed up with american cars that I am about to spend my money on a foreng car, however, before I do, I might as well get myself a 1993 chrysler imperial.

Drive safe and i'll see you down the road.
