At 200,000 miles, some things are
wrong, no doubt.
The car is on it's second transmision.
The dash and steering wheel are both cracked.
Radio can be finicky to play.
Rear transmision seal leaks on exhaust,
prompting people to think the car is on fire.
Power antenna no longer works.
Driver side window does not work.
My mother bought the car new in 1985. In 2000, she gave it to me. The body is still in great shape.
The interior is still in great shape, althougth the headliner is threatening to sag.
The car still has an increditable ride.
The engine just started tapping at 202,000 miles.
It is hard to sense speed in this car. In 14 years of driving, I have been pulled over four times for speeding, three of the times were while I was driving this car.
"The last of Oldsmobile's full framed, rear wheel drive cars"?
That would be the 1991-92 Custom Cruiser.
The Custom Cruiser was a wagon.
Uh, yeah, the CC was a wagon.
It was also a full-frame rwd CAR.
What's yer point?
