"Excellent nippy car, but the price is a bit steep (RM34000)"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Not much except the folded rear seats rattles on hitting bumps etc.

General comments?

Mine is the limited edition twin cam efi fitted with power steering and leather seats.

The car is fully accessorised with handsfree mobile kits (neat), power windows/central locking, ionizer etc, and everything was carefully laid out in its places.

Instrumentation panels were clearly displayed and the headlamps are big and bright for night driving.

Love the two-tone yellow/black Limited Edition colors.

Driving the same car as well... agreed that it's cool... I got the same problem with the rear seats as well, all you need to do is to get the service center to do some adjustment to it.

My only problem is the car rattles very badly whenever I hit 90km per hour.

Very well I agree with the rattling rear seats. Besides, read on Perodua website that Kelisa will have electric side-mirrors, wonder why it is not fitted as standard in the SE. /omar.

I am very interested in buying a limited Edition, any idea if it can be bought in Singapore?

I agree.. mine is red/black limited edition, but it seems I don't have any problem with the rattling rear seats.. everything is seems fine just that the paint is can be easily scratch if it was hit with a small stone while I'm driving.

I used my kelisa rather rough as I usually travel far. if you notice, the kelisa will rattle at approaching 90 - 100 km, but will go smoother on 100 - 120 km then it will start rattling again. This was caused by (according to my mechanic) for the in balance of the twin cam (it uses 3 piston). I suggest for the new owner to try and ram your kelisa up to 130 km and you will notice that it will go steadier and more pick up at 100 - 120 km. I swear it makes a lot of improvement in pick up and long distance driving. Believe me, I have two kelisa now (limited edition yellow/black and silver/black)

Its fun to drive with it although it is not powerful like other car.. I hit 140Km/h and it is smooth, stable and quite which make me can't believable.

The Perodua is selling for only RM$34,000 in Malaysia. That's about S$15,000.

In Singapore, we pay S$60,000 for the same car. Why? Do the ones sold in Singapore come with titanium bodies or solid gold bodies, with 24 carat diamonds on the 4 wheel hubs?

I am having a Kelisa Limited Edition black and red the car is very powerful and I have brought the car at a top speed of 160 that is the maximum in the speedometer, very stable car just need a bit tyre alignment and balancing, the car is the best Malaysian car I have ever drove and the best there is and is economy and worth it for RM 37,000.

I am having a Kelisa Limited Edition black and red too. The car is fun and steady. I went up to 125km/h. But the car can be pretty noisy and you'll have to up the radio volume. It's the first car that I own and I've got friends, neighbours and even airport securities coming up to ask me where to get this car. Definitely an eye catcher!!

I bought Kelisa Special Edition (All Blue) in 2003, I think the car's stock suspensions is very "weak" for aggressive driver like me, so I had it change to racing suspensions , now my car rock solid. I think the engine is very powerful for it size..

I went to a roadshow and glad that I had a drive testing yesterday. Selling at the price of S$51,000. Feeling as if I'm floating when I drove at the the speed of 65km/h. And the dealer told me there is no airbag at the driver seat! Is that true?

Not many comments received regarding Perodua's Kelisa as I would expect. However, it would be good for people to realise the existence of such a make and model to be able to find out more regarding the car. More constructive and beneficial comments should be expected, especially from readers who have owned the car and have well acquaintance with the new make and model.
