1972 Chrysler Valiant Ranger XL from Australia and New Zealand - Comments

"Australian classic"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

No real problems as yet.

Hydraulic lifters starting to get a little noisy.

General comments?

This car doesn't like cornering or stopping in a hurry.

Very spacious interior.

Excellent tow car.

Cheap to run on LPG fuel.

I owned a VH Ranger wagon and would agree with the stopping part (fixed by fitting a servo from a Regal) but the handling was OK once you got used to driving on the accelerator and the handbrake instead of using the steering wheel.

It's nice to see a true Mopar fan giving their mopar some stick.

Massively Over Powered Asphalt Rippers!
