Flex Wheel had to be Replaced, Bell Housing on the transmission had to be replaced Doesn't go over 60 mph in the freeway Well the interior is in good shape and the motor is starting to make a knocking sound which means its starting to be bad well I got the car for free.
Go With the mid 90s Civic or Corolla Either one I buying it soon.
In all seriousness and fairness, this is the worst car I have ever owned. First the power steering went out, then I had to replace the alternator weeks later. A month later the starter went out. 9 months later the starter shorted out from an oil leak I was not aware of. The car seems to run for 15 minutes after I have parked it. The exhaust needs to still be replaced and the emergency parking brake does not work. I can't get this car to pass inspection anywhere. I am not hard on the car either. As a former mechanic I know the importance of driving carefully and taking care of cars. I have still had all of these problems and many more I can't even remember since owning this car.
Positives: The interior is nice and the paint job has held up extremely well for this car's age.
Overall, I would recommend not buying this car used unless you have a lot, and I mean a whole lot of time to break down and repair. With the money I've put restoring this car, I could have had a new one by now.
