"A high performance dream beast head turning piece of kit"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Rust: Luckily caught it in time, but had a few spots round rear arches, petrol cap and sun roof. nothing £130 didn't fix, looks like new now.:-)

Brake pads: Normal wear and tear only cost £10.

General comments?

This car is just so nice!

I'm so proud of it, makes me smile every time I drive it, girls love it apart from little space in the back, but that's why I only have ladies in the back not lads. anyway I'm gonna get the rear seats moved back a foot by adjusting the shock housings.

I drove 400 miles up north with friends to buy this car.

It was in the middle of nowhere in a huge garage, a granddad owned it so it had obviously been looked after.

Had 15000 miles on the clock, but Honda engines roar for life so I'm not bothered.

It drives like a dream and I kick everyone of the line.

I work for a hotel and drive every car under the sun etc Porches, Lamborghini's etc, but I still prefer getting back in my car!

I'm putting the Honda Preluded 2.2 v-tec in with a super charger attached.

Either that or a v6 or v8 can't quite make up my mind hehehehehehe.

It used £38 of petrol to get home 400 miles away!how good is that!and I was doing 147mph most the way back

how cool is that!ill get 150mph down motorway :-) spending lots of money modding it.

Don't you just hate it when people exaggerate about top speeds. I own a CRX myself, the 16v will do 125mph. I don't know where this guy got 147mph from.

It's a brilliant car, but stay away from ones driven by the guy who wrote this review.

The 1.6l DOHC will do 135mph easy! 147mph on the motorway is not a lie. OK maybe not in the 1.6l 125bhp SOHC, but the DOHC, yes.

I've never seen a CRX that will go 147mph I don't think it is possible in a i.6
