"In a word: FUN"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

None.

General comments?

Well assembled and fun to drive. Very quick with turbo. Mpg poor at 14-22 on premium fuel. Small gas tank=short range. Very easy to get in and out. In short, it is fun. Lack of refinement doesn't seem to matter because of the fun factor.

I traded my 2001 silver limited for a 2003 inferno red GT, and I find a lot of the original personal touches were carried over. But I found a number of refinements they have done to make it feel and look even better then before. If you're a die hard Cruiser you have to check out the GT. Hands down its got more for the buck then some of the higher end street rods (ha ha)

Bought a 2003 PT GT in Inferno Red in early December. Wow! Haven't had this much fun driving a car in a lot of years. Got all the amenities to include seat warmers. The wife didn't want them, but on the third day she drove it to work on Palos Verdes Drive South, she opened the sun roof and turned the seats to low heat and enjoyed the early morning commute all the better.

She only lets me drive it to the car wash, to get gas, and to the store. Since we bought the car, I am lot nicer to her. I'll say it again - wow! What a fun car.

Very nice car, well built (no rattles or squeaks). Great space in the back for hauling large items. Two major drawbacks is poor fuel mileage and a wide turning circle (feels like I'm driving a truck). Chrysler has to work on getting more mp-g's and decreasing the turning circle.

After 4 months of owning an '03 Cruiser, I am selling. It gets TERRIBLE gas mileage and with the new models of affordable cars, i.e. Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa, it just makes sense to get something that doesn't need the tank filled every 3 days. I had a bad feeling about the Cruiser, but bought it anyway against my better judgement. Now I regret the hasty decision.

After I bought my '03 GT I realized it was going to be a little more expensive than my neon was. I don't think it does that bad on gas just not as well as I thought. The major drawback to my GT is how it gets around in the snow, or should I say how it doesn't. Living in Montana that's kinda important, but with switching to smaller wheels and tire hopefully it will get around a lot better!
