"Reliability that is equal to Toyota for less money"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The tappets are noisy on the vehicle.

The air conditioning clutch is making noise.

The manual transmission is difficult to engage from first to second gear when it is cold outside.

General comments?

Overall the vehicle is excellent.

The vehicle has an average of 26.5 miles per gallon at 65 miles per hour.

The vehicle is squeak and rattle free.

The motor is good for anywhere between 250,000 and 350,000 miles with routine fluid and filter changes.

The vehicle is sound, reliable transportation.

Ditto on the 95 hardbody. I've owned three. My first was 1974 Datsun (Nissan) with 49,000 on it. Drove it to 334,000 miles with untouched orignial motor and 2 transmissions. Bought it new in 1977 for 1,900.00 and I sold it 22 years later for 500.00 It was so damned indestructable I physically grew tired of driving it. My second was a 1979 Datsun (Nissan) bought for 850.00 in 1997 and sold in 1999 for 2,500.00 because I bought the '95 Hardbody for 6,000.00.

Respect them for what they are and they will outlast YOU!
