Total failure of ignition system on motorway in Germany, total cost - 400 pounds.
Catalytic converter failed - 500 pounds.
Rear suspension broken - 150 pounds.
Company has no records of servicing although dealer got them to suddenly have it in their database.
Daewoo's so called customer service is in fact a pure lie. I could not find any of this, neither in the UK nor in Germany so this seems to be a general problem. Daewoo Glasgow told me they would not service cars they sell to used car dealers as that would not make sense to them, which inadvertently leads to the fact that the
car is not under warranty any more. This company is by far the worst that has happened to me in 18 years of car ownership.
I think that calling Daewoo's service and servicing facilities "a pure lie" is an unfairly dismissive generalisation. In view of such an exaggeration I find it rather difficult to take the rest of your review seriously. I have owned a daewoo for nearly 2 years and the staff will often go out of their way to help when it comes to servicing etc.
