Coolant sender switch blew.
Wiring loom for headlights blew, due to circuit overload.
Battery died, but that's due to the alarm.
This car is like a missile on wheels.
I've had 170mph,0-60 - 5 seconds.
Lots of aftermarket performance parts.
Engines can be tuned to more than 750hp.
Handles like on rails.
Very well built.
Will take on and beat virtually anything from the lights.
Fully equipped.
Women love this car.
Oh behave! I think that the person in the above comment does not realize how attracting a female has evolved over the years.
Oh ladies, you know its true men are like big kid's with bigger toys, but "you know you like them to" ha ha.
In relation to the first comment, I think you should read the review a little closer.
It doesn't mention anywhere that the person reviewing the car "needs a car to get women"
Maybe this person actually has a sense of humour?
Perhaps you should try to find one from somewhere, don't you think?

I am a 17 year old guy and I am seriously considering buying a 300ZX as my first car. It looks sooo sexy and drives even better.
The one I have my eye on is a 300ZX Twin Turbo 5 spd. It has about 280 km on it. I can pick it up for about $5000.
Is it worth it???
That is totally worth it, the Z is one of the best older sports cars out there. it has all the aspects you want from a car. speed, handling, and style, on top of that the 95' model is very reliable. and for 5000 you can't find a better car for your dollar.
Hey, I'm a 16 year old, in Arizona and I am looking at a 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo 5 spd. The one I have my eyes on has about 125K miles. And my dad is always putting it down for having so many miles. And the guy as asking $5,500. It needs a few scratches taken out from the front lip and side where it seems as if it it the curb. I'm thinking $4,800 - $5,000. What do you think?

To the above comment: Make sure the turbos are in good shape. At this age, depending how the car was driven, there could be some serious repairs looming in the near future. Was the timing belt replaced at 120k? Was the engine run a few minutes at the end of a trip to cool off the turbos? It would be worth while to have a specialist or a mechanic look over the car just to make sure your budget isn't killed later.
Refering to the questions by the 16 aand 17 yr old. at this age, these cars are death traps, since at that age kids think they are invinsible. also you lookig at 2500-4000 for insurance a year on that car specially if its twin turbo. I'm 26 yrs old awesome record and I pay 1300 a yr for isurance. save ur money get a bit older then get it, you will live longer also. my advice to you, from a guy that has seen a few people dead at a very young age owning this car and also the last body rx-7.
I'm looking to buy a Nissan Z32 300ZX for my first car it's a manual, Targa top, non-turbo, 1990-91, 2+2 seating, stock for AU$9500 I think it is a bargain, but my parents are stopping me from buying it because of the engine size they think its to big. But how do I convince them that 3L V6 isn't too big and it has 160, 000 Ks on it.

In reference to the post dated 31st may 2006. Sorry mate, but your parents are right, if this is your first car, you do not want a 3.0 V6; for starters do you know what sort of mileage you'll get from a 300 ZX? (How deep are your pockets?)
Not to mention the fact that this car will, and I mean will, KILL you if driven hard in the wet. Do yourself a BIG favour and wait until you have some years and experience under your belt. “Mark my words, you may not LIVE to regret getting a 300 ZX as your first car …..”
