1995 Buick LeSabre Custom from North America - Comments

"Ugly, boreing and not a good choice"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Oil leaks, coil packs, wheel cylinders, water pump, manifold gasket, cooing fan relay.

General comments?

All the hype on the Le sable should be saved. It's a loser. Although many seem to think this is a mid priced car some standard features are even found on upper grade chevys that this car lacks. The dynaride is a joke. The car bounces like a rubber ball and it cannot take any extra weight in the rear seats. This car was designed for the old folks and has cost buick its younger sales customers which it may never get back.

Go get a Honda CRX if you want a "kiddie car". Put loud speakers and exhaust in it, and add some purple neon under the body. Then go drive it around your neighborhood, and marvel at how much it attracts the local constabulary.

Leave the serious cars to us six-foot tall old folks. We'll be happy to drive our LeSabres on 400 mile road trips and get out feeling refreshed and relaxed. When getting there is half the fun, the Buick LeSabre makes that fun more comfortable, and seems to be invisible to the cop running a speed trap.

"Your mileage may vary."

Heh, I liked that comment about being invisible to the cops waiting in their speed traps. :-D.

When the fast and furious crew comes whizzing by with their fart pipes blaring, the cops will surely come for them even if they are going just a few miles over the limit. They will likely let me and my LeSabre go by without a second thought even if I am going 15mph over. My only problem is that the car is so plush inside and the 3800 is so torquey, that if you don't have your cruise control set, it is very easy to go way too fast and not even realize it. 75, 80, or 85 come on quickly if you stop looking down at the speedometer for too long. This car was made for high speed cruising.

Give me A 1995 Le Sabre any day! Mine has 137,000 miles on it and it still drives like a dream, doesn't burn oil and gets 26 miles to the gallon. All this and comfort too! Wow!

Have fun getting in and out of that tiny car. Also, good luck to you if you wreck that tin can doing the 110 that you paid $10,000 for, because, imagine crushing a soda can with your foot, but then imagine doing it while you are inside. Slim chances, huh. At least, with the LeSabre, there is some car there to take the brunt of the crash if you are in an accident. Plus, I own a Cadillac Fleetwood, and the ride in my cousins LeSabre rivals that of my Caddy.
