What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing.

General comments?

Mazda's range has become very dull. I have had to change to a Toyota now because of the lack of range. My wife has had a MX3, and again no replacement is planned.

With all these new cars Mazda released? You say it's dull.

Why buy it in the first place? Obviously that's not the case. You were attracted to it in some way to spend that much money on a vehicle, because there is plenty of vehicles you could of bought in that price range.

The RX8 is not dull at all; it's actually different from every car in a good way (4 seat sports car with rotary engine & suicide doors) which car released has those features???, Mazda 6 very luxury & sporty/sexy, all the new speeedy/sexy hatches are so different. Mazda 323, which we are talking about is still unique and attractive till today. It is one unusual hatch that can be considered as a sports car, coupe or even small/average sized family car (it's not popular for no reason dude).

If anything, Toyota is never innovative and boring.
