"Low Resale, Low Quality, Bad Service"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Plastic trim on bumpers repainted at 20,000 miles. Fan belt started squeaking at 25,000. "leather" trimmed seats defining what "trim" means. It means ultra thin "leather"?

LOW LOW resale value, I owe $17,000 and the car is worth $7000.

The Infinity Premium Stereo with 4 disc changer, isn't so premium. The speakers are mostly blown and it is not clear at all.

Stay away from all Chrysler products. This was my first and last Chrysler. I knew better, but fell for the 0% finance.

I am throughly dissappointed.

The service at the dealerships are the worst. I have been to five different dealerships in three different states. There five star service must be out of 100 stars. I wouldn't let these morons near a go-kart.

General comments?

There are better choices. Clearly Chrysler has to find out what the word QUALITY means.

This has happened to me twice: driving along at 70mph on

cruise control from Sacramento to Fresno and all of a sudden the engine quit. I got off cruise control, stepped on the gas pedal, looked at my fuel gage and all dash instruments, selected neutral to coast to the shoulder and stopped. I had more than a 1/4 tank of gas (96 miles DTE). A week later exact scenario, only I had 3/4 of a tank (237 milesDTE). The tow truck driver said, after I told him what happened, that I had run out of gas and that the '98, '99 and 2000 Concords have defective fuel gages. I had tried over and over to restart it on the highway.

After filling up the car did restart after having failed to start (on both occasions) : However at the Chrysler dealership I was told that PERHAPS the fuel pump was bad, or that the computer was shutting off the fuel flow for some reason due to there being a safety feature incorporated where it would turn off the fuel IF THE CAR WAS UPSIDE DOWN. Can you believe this!? They told me that they could not fix the problem if they could not duplicate it in the shop or on a road test. I'm not about to pay $86 an hour for them to try to find out what's wrong, and if they can't then what?

Here I have a nice looking car (and that's all it is, nice looking), an expensive car, that I can't drive anywhere because I don't know when it will decide to strand me somewhere, like on highway 5, or worse yet in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
