Carburettor had to replace with new one
brake pipes due to corrison
ignition amplifier on the distributor common fault on some of the 405 models
cold starting problems, but when warmed OK
gearbox is sometimes notchy whn changing gear.

good anti rust protection.
Is your auto choke working properly?? if it doesn't run at around 1500 rpm when cold then replace the wax pellet which is water heated in a pipe that is screwed to the carburettor housing, it costs £50 and cures all cold starting problems...
