When I got it it had a bad cylinder head.
It also had a bad cylinder head gasket.
The fuel filter was original and had to be replaced.
The bottoms of both doors were completely rotted away.
Other than that it just needed a basic tune up.
The car performed better than I ever could have expected.
One time I turned the engine by mistake over 6000 r.p.m and amazing it stayed together and still runs awesome.
The car has awesome acceleration and takes off like a rocket.
A Buick Skyhawk taken over 6000 r.p.m.? One of my father's friends had a Datsun 510 sedan. He put a brick on the gas pedal to see if he could blow it up. What happened was: The car began to shake, Black smoke came out of the tailpipe, and the car ran smoothly ever since.
