Interior scratches easily considering price of vehicle.
After having a bad Sienna experience, I moved up to a Sequoia and have been ecstatic. It is wonderful to drive. I spend the majority of my life in my car chauffeuring children to various activities and I am glad to spend it in comfort and luxury even at the cost of a few more $ to operate.
The interior of my $40,000+ Sequoia scratches very easily, too. This is very disappointing and there is no type of protectant that the dealership can put on the surfaces. The console between the front seats is the worst as it is scratched by my wedding ring every time I reach over to buckle my seat belt. The back was scratched by some very soft boxes that I had in the rear. The center console also gets very scratched up by the feet of people riding in the middle row seats. Not what you would expect with a top of the line Toyota!
I was just reading this review and wanted to add that I currently have an Acura MDX and it does the same thing. The interior are between the front and back doors is all scratched up and I was told there is nothing that can be done about it.
Just wanted to let you know that it seems to happen to a lot of different vehicles, not just Toyota.
