New Right rear bearing

Two new Distributors

New exhaust (already need a new one)

New Brakes (twice in 3 months)

Tune up at 151000km, needs another already

New tail light assemblies

A/C fixed (Again)

Countless electrical

Various intake problems

Stalls from time to time

Passenger seat back keeps falling off

Rear seat bolts seem to have gone on holiday and now seat would like too!

General comments?

Unfortunately, it took a small fortune to make this vehicle road worthy. Fortunately, it is now. The car handles suprisingly well on the Autostrada. Not suprisingly, it does not fare so well on Italian country roads. At times I detest this car, but I've grown attached. It is quite a looker, even if it is an irritable old beast.

My 164 TS (1989) has reached 230.000 Km last month traveling trough Europe (Austria Germany Sweden Finland were I stay for months - no box), all this failures don't happen to the car.

Usually I drive "regular" max speed 180 K/h in Germany Highwy, most of time 130 about.

I have the filing that this model is designed "at limit" and if you use it at full power troubles will come.

Riccardo.
