Rear end went out at 56,000 miles.
Transfer case went out at 60,000 miles.
Leather seats worn out at 60,000 miles.
Gas mileage is awful.
I like this truck, lots of power, fun to drive, the design is the best ever, sharp looking truck. However, I will not get very many more miles out of this expensive mistake. I purchased vehicle used for $20,000, and have put another $5000.00 into it to keep it on the road. I would definitely buy an extended warranty if purchasing one used!!!
I purchased this truck with 101000 kilometers, and now has 150000. I had only to change the water pump. I am very pleased with the power this truck has, I almost went chevy. I dorve my dads, compared to mine it was no comparison. Dodge took it all the way, more of a truck feeling, higher front end, more power ,chevy parts cost more and not a sissy truck. The gas miliage on the chev was better, but not as much horsepower and the dodge has been reliable to the last minute. I will definetly buy another dodge product again and so on...
In Europe these trucks are unsustainable. I can't imagine any sane person driving a pickup truck with a 6 litre engine in Europe. I do wonder how the US is going to cope as fuel costs go up. Anything that does less than 40mpg in the UK is regarded as a gas guzzler, what does this truck do? 15mpg? Just amazing the US economy can take it...
