I have this rare problem with my Is200. The driver door became hard to open some of the time after owning the car for jus about 3 months.??? I have sent to car for repair 3X already. Very frustrating experience!!! he dealer said they alignment the mechanism to rectify the problem. dunno how true!!
The ride is not that smooth as I would expect from a lexus. too much road noise and ride is bumpy.
Now for jus 5 months, the seat has started to produce sounds like there is loose metal!! disappointing!!
Styling of the car is brilliant interior and exterior. I like the 17in 5 spokes rims. they look excellent on it. The black two tone leather seat is one of best I've ever seen. thumb up!!!
I seldom drive fast therefore the car power is jus right. Overall, I find it to be a much better deal compare to BMW or Mercedes of the same spec.
The gripes about the poor ride go hand in hand with having big alloy wheels and "rubber band" tyres on it... face it...its going to happen... thinner tyres...rougher ride.
