As of 110,000 miles, it has gone through 5 or 6 mufflers.
I had to have the clutch replaced around 100,000 miles.
The lifters stick, so I have to have the oil changed and add oil treatment like clockwork every 3 months or 3,000 miles to avoid the very loud ticking sounds it makes.
At around 125,000 miles I had to replace the fuel filter.
I currently need to replace the constant velocity joints.
It also needs a brake job.
It recently has had problems when you have just shifted in the lower 4 gears.
The factory stereo and speakers were absolutely terrible.
I love my car!
It has been extremely reliable.
The rack and pinion steering combined with the manual transmission make it lots of fun
to drive.
It does not accelerate very fast when you are in 5th gear, but it does great it the 1st four.
It has a very smooth ride as long as you are driving slower than 70 miles per hour.
It is very comfortable and has lots of amenities such as power locks, power windows, rear window defroster, tilt steering column, air conditioning, a great heater, and lots more.
Two things I would change about my car would be one) giving it cup holders, and two) a sunroof.
It gets pretty good gas mileage.
It would not cost me much if I could just keep myself from wrecking it every six months in the past two years!
It has very comfortable seats, and the cabin area is pretty large for such a small car.
This has nothing to do with the review, i hav one and I love my stanza, it's an 89, I love it, its my first car and it used to be my grammas, it's a great reliable car, and I can get it going really good too.
