I own a 1970 LG-60, with 6 cylinder 3 gears manual gasoline Patrol. You really have to damage the engine with your hands if you want to see it broken, really. When you drive it, you find your self a little bit taller because the seat is located in a particular position. In my country, Colombia, people call a car the truly love, when you have it for enough time to become it a metal-member of the family. It is the case, more than a transport, you learn from this car. A word to resume it: Indestructible. Forget about comfortable seats, air conditioning and plastic. A lot of cars drives to you wherever you want or need to go, but whit this one, you will be sure you will be back.

A really tough rig I own a 1984 50th anniversary and I would never have got where I was going without it, stock standard with a set of muddies and they can't be beaten.

Land cruisers have got nothing on Patrols, an awesome 4WD all round and extremely powerful 3.3 turbo diesel.
