"It's many attributes include beauty, grace, speed, comfort"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Engine requires regular maintenance, which is costly.

Clutch needed to be replaced once.

General comments?

The XJ-220 is definitely a supercar. Comfortable, once I managed to get into the car, and incredibly fast.

It's technology was obviously well researched, though it does have a few minor points.

It is difficult to get into the car.

I suggest that a better link between the electronics and the engine.

An XJ220 with 268921 miles on the clock? I hope is a mistake!

When you bought the car it had 107234 miles on the clock (we are talking about a Jaguar XJ200). Since then you have added another 161687 to it (we are still talking about a Jaguar XJ220). Your previous car was a Citroen Xantia. Please try harder next time!

This review should get an award for something, maybe "Least Credible Review Ever"? Yes, aside from the mileage question, the language is awkward and the content juvenile.

However, it is cool to imagine some rich 17 year old driving the hell out of a 220 and then writing: "I suggest that a better link between the electronics and the engine."

Look under your Jaguar. Does it have the words "Maisto" written underneath? Is it of 1:18 scale? And did it sit in the glove box (or parcel shelf) of your 1:1 scale Xantia whilst you did considerable mileage? How dare these other people accuse you of providing a fake review without knowing all the facts. But a little tip - next time, please review a real car, not a model car. Let us know how your Xantia has been.

Yes, I agree with this review - I find I have difficulties getting into my 1:18 scale Jaguar XJ220 as well...

After putting a 1:18 on the passenger seat of an XJS, and pressing the accelerator with my finger, I too found the same problems as you. It was difficult to get into the car- I had trouble getting my hand inside it. To rectify this, I suggest getting the real deal. It'll cost ten thousand times more (literally), but it would be worth it. Since you made a comment about the electronics, I am led to believe that this is a rare remote controlled version. Try putting batteries in it- that helps.

Personally, I cannot remember ever seeing a remote controlled XJ220. But hey, maybe there isn't one. Maybe you have a Xantia Remote control car, and put the shell of your maisto on top?

Either way, I seriously doubt someone us unbelievable as you has enough money to buy a 200 mph super-car, unless it's remote controlled and ten inches long. You are the weakest link...

200mph super-car- £120,000.

Nikko Xantia- £50.

Maisto 1:18- £20.

This review?- Priceless!

You mean you actually got an XJ220? As a matter of fact, I'm 11 and I have that Maisto (not 1:18 scale) Jaguar. It's silver... Jaguar is one of my favorite car makers. Is it true that that car goes 218mph?

Hmm...rolling that thing across the kitchen table must make your heart skip a beat. The 1/18 I have just sends me into hysterics. The next time your provide a fake review, pick up a copy of "Lying For Dummies" beforehand.

These cars are no big deal now, you can pick them up for less than 85,000 pounds.

They were about 400,000 pounds new so they seem a real bargain now.

But they're not very good.

Jaguar didn't provide the car people thought they had ordered and many customers declined to buy them, prompting Jaguar to sue them.

All in all a very sad story.

I'm Australian I had never heard of a Citroen Xantia and had to look it up. having done so I now know that you are full crap. no body has ever gone for that to one of the fastest production cars ever made (unless you got one hell of a trade in). So why don't you go off and play with your model or your self or what ever is closest.

The giveaway is the mileage, 269,000 miles, but don't get upset, this is obviously just a joke.

"It is difficult to get into the car."

Well yeah, you'd don't actually expect to get in and drive a 1/16'th model, do you?

My one is a mini real version. Half the size of the real thing. The 1/18th one!

Surely wouldn't a car half the size of a real one be a 1/2 scale?? Or am I just being thick :-P?
