So many things go wrong when it close to 100000 miles. Now the engine stall once a while when you slow down. I sent to a nissan dealer 5 times in the past 3 mons. Each time, thet told me they fixed something. The problem still happens!!! just today on the highway. I think I would get killed by this car - by Nissan's Altima anytime if I did not get rid of it soon enough.

I just passed 104,000 with my 96 Altima, and am having the same problem. Did you ever find out what was causing it to stall/want to stall while braking?
My 96 has been great to me... up until now. she's at 102,000 miles and stalls out on me-took it to a Nissan specialist and they said they fixed that as well as an oil leak and it still does it 700 dollars later. why does it do that?
