"Most reliable car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The only thing that has ever been replaced on this car is the alternator.

It's still on it's original clutch.

The seat have started the wear a bit, but they are still in alright shape.

General comments?

This car runs perfectly.

However the body is shot.

This car is so light and fast.

However I don't like the way it handles

on corner's.

The engine will last forever.

However the body's don't last.

I do agree that this car will last forever... if the body doesn't rust out on it first. Being a college student and receiving it as a hand me down when my parents got a new car, I won't complain about it one bit. I really like the Toyota name and how long they last.

I recently purchased a 1990 corolla SR5 in Pittsburgh from an origanal owner for just $800. The car spent most of it's life on the west coast, so it has very little rust, Lucky Me! I replaced the struts, the muffler, buffed up the oxidated paint and now she's good to go. Great little car.
