Everything has gone wrong with this car.
The gas gauge won't work.
The tie rod ends wore out.
Battery went out.
The car stalled at every stop because
of the throttle positioning switch.
I hated this car and it was the worst car ever, but that's OK because its dead now. I rolled it off the edge of a ditch because the shocks and tires were so long gone and the tie rods were so shot. The car stalled at every stop and the shocks or struts made a terrible squeaking noise most of the time. If I could literally kill a car I would kill this.
Your review is BS first because you COULD not get a 1983 Skylark with a straight 6. It came with a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder or a 2.8 litre V6, period. Also, the problems you talk about are NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. Tires wear out, shocks/struts wear out. Tie rod ends wear out. Jeez man, give me a real problem. Also, it stalled because you didn't replace your fluids and filters, GIVE A CAR SOME MAINTENANCE, IT WILL NOT FAIL IF YOU DO THAT.
