"A car you can rely on"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The car had not a very good driving stability, especially at high speed.

The front seats were not very comfortable, especially the passenger seat.

The engine was overheated in the summertime.

General comments?

Every time, the engine started at the first try.

The engine was powerful for this car and helped me when I needed high and quick acceleration.

The brakes were powerful and I always knew that I can count on them, no matter how the weather was.

I do not agry with what is said on the site about Dacia 1100. I had the pleasure of owning and driving a Dacia 1100, and I can say that the both front seats are comfortable, the brakes indeed are very strong and powerful (I haveve stopped completely in 0.5-0.7 meters from 120 km/h) ;YES I have reached the speed of 120 km/h with Dacia 1100 and I even got to 140-145 km/h, and the car had a great stability. It always took me where I wanted to go; a couple of times I even took about 1-1.5 tones of sand from the middle of the beach and I have got back home with it for more than 20 km at a medium speed of 95 km/h. In the first eyear the engine overheated during summer, but till the next summer i have made some addons to the back end of the car and everything was OK.

I would have wanted to say more about my Dacia 1100, and the things that she could do...; but I don`t want to bore you with them...

Unfortunately Dacia is good only in Romania it's good for the roads there but once you take it outside on the Autobahn the engine will die sorry it's a good car for eastern Europeans, cheap and low cost, but drinks a lot of gasoline for that small engine.

I have a dacia 1100 that is very reliable. It has a powerful engine (faster than a Logan 1.4). All spare parts are more reliable than by the other Dacias.
