Seats have shown a lot of wear and tear even before I got them. I need to get some
custom-made seat covers for them, but that is all.
The car corners very well.
It is excellent on gas mileage, but not as good as the last one I had.
The seats are fairly comfortable, even on long drives.
First of all the 2001 chevy prism lsi, looks better and feels better than any car I've ever driven in, for as good as a deal on gas mileage and on turning, its made by chevy, which makes corvettes, therefore they are the most dependable car manufacturing co. out there, and I love this car, I pass up honda's, acuras and all those asian rice rockets, I mean man, go out and get a real american made car, buy a 2001 chevy prism lsi, they stand for dependability and for the combing companies of toyota and chevy also honda, how can you argue with that, why go with one company when you can have them all in one car. my brakes are factory pads, my gas isn't even a problem, and my agility is gone when I throw my foot down on the pedal, its fast, sporty, and sedan like all at the same time for comfort, prosperity, and liability. I think it's better than the jetta, or honda accord. I mean its blue book value is 9,000 dollars people, that's quality with quantity right there folks, take my advice, chevy prisms are good cars, go and talk to your nearest chevy dealer
I'm out though.
Late.
Could the guy who wrote the above comment actually not even know that the Prizm is the same thing as the Toyota Corolla?
What a goob!
I've got a 2001 Prizm with 80,000mi so far. I replaced a blower relay myself for $22 has been its only problem. And yes, it really is a Toyota Corolla. Made in Fremont, CA on the same assembly line the real Corolla rolls off of. The only difference I see is the trunk keyhole is in a different spot on the 2001 Corolla. Chevy should've kept selling Japanese cars like the Geo series instead of going to Korean junk like Daewoo Aveo.
