What things have gone wrong with the car?

So far knocking on wood, I have had No problems with this Van. It has been a great runner and our Family really enjoys going out for a nice days drive in it. I get 24 to 26 miles per gallon which really surprised me, and the engine seems to have all the power that anybody would need in driving. I haven't tried it and probably will not ever either, pulling a trailer with it, the rear-end just doesn't look like it would handle a long or short trip, either the leaf springs don't look heavy enough to handle that kind of weight, but its built tough enough to handle 7 passengers with light supplies or luggage. It's a good Van to buy if you are looking for something to haul the family around in.

General comments?

All in all, I give this Van a 9 out of 10 rating in all aspects. It handles great on the road, the gears are just about right for city or interstate driving, This model is super quite inside, no road noise to speak of, and the drivers and passengers seats are excellent that comes with the arm rest which is really helpful on a long trip! Theres plenty of storage and the seats retract back giving you plenty of floor space too! If you need to haul any big objects, the middle and rear seats lets down or in 2 minutes, you can have them totally out of the Van with just a click of a lever, So that it really gives you ample room to haul just about anything you want too. I also like the 2 side door features. You can open both doors up creating a open cabin view for camping, at the beach, or just a lazy day at the park. I researched for 3 months looking at all the different types of Van styles around and one of the reasons why I decided to go with this one is its vary air stream styling. At 70 mph on cruise control on the interstate, you can drive for hours being vary comfortable the way this model handles the road! And it looks vary sharp too! So if I had to buy another Van in the future, I would look for this style again!

Have 5 kids. Just traded a pontiac sunfire for this 2000 dodge grand caravan se with 50,000 miles. Seems to be great so far. Minor problems will have dealer fix still under warranty. My only major complaint is the gas milege. Not very good. Love the room, the dual sliding doors, and the pick up power. Hubby Loves the infinity radio. I like having the option of casett or cd. Not handle too well on turns at high speeds, but o. k for highway (have the extended one) Can't have it all. I have always been a chevy or ford woman, but if this van holds up I would reconsider for buying a dodge.

Have you had any type of transmission problems. I'm considering buying a 99 Grand Caravan and was wondering if you know of any tranny problems for this particular year.

Thanks

Joe.
