"First true American sport utility vehicle"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Radiator, oil leak at valve cover.

Frame rot : (

General comments?

Well I'm a AMC fan for a long time back in the 80s I've had my share of amcs from a hornet to a spirit to finally an sx4

fell out awile and been on the hunt for another sx4

but I came across the eagle sport I currently have

everything works down to the cigarette lighter

all lights inside, radio factory AM/FM, all gauges and controls work all doors work like new and runs like new paint is in very good shape drives OK and the 4 wheel drive also works like a charm (lots of snow this year on long island!)

one bad thing is frame rot.

Nice running and looking car just don't look under it.

Hey Steven I have recently purchased a 1983 SX/4. The car is in great shape. Just not sure if it's what I'm looking for. Everything works on it, even the air. The car is from Cal. and is in Georgia now. So there is no rust. Saw your add, thought you might be interested. You can reach me at RSRINGA@AOL.COM.

I have an 1983 2-door sport. I'm in need of a valve cover that has the holes in the top of cover for tightning down the cover. Not the one with bolts down the sides. It's a 258 6-cylinder. Your responce to this should be sent to; hidi_o_neighbor@yahoo.com

Thank you,

DAVE.
