"A sporty sedan of questionable reliability which is very expensive to repair."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The car immediately began stalling. The dealership service station says it needs new ignition coils at a cost of $650.00.

The brakes are squeaking and the dealership says, "They're fine, they do that."

Lower front ball joint needs immediate repair at a cost of $300.00.

Tape deck stopped working the second day I had it.

Power locks and trunk release stick when it's cold.

Dealer claims the transmission is beginning to slip. This could cost $2000!

General comments?

The engine is powerful, even with a possibly failing transmission.

Nice interior design. All the controls are well placed.

Handles well for such a large sedan.

Love the moon roof design and controls.

Bose speakers sound amazing since I replaced the stereo.

Nice looking car.

I think you must've gotten a lemon or one that was not properly maintained for a period of time, either that or the dealer is terrible. I've had a 93 max for 100,000 miles, abused almost every one of them, without significant problems like that. The door locks do stick when it is cold, deal with it. But this car will beat a mustang gt in straight line acceleration and with better reliability in my case. As far as the brakes go, try replacing the pads with non-metallic ones, sometimes the dealer will instal metal pads, which squeak because of the metal on metal contact with the rotors. As far as the engine idle, make sure you are running the recommended 93 octane.
